Although the number of cases under the Equality Act to reach court remains relatively small, there have been a number of cases which highlight the necessity to fully comprehend your responsibilities.

As Access Consultants, Architects and building professionals with over 28 years experience in inclusion and the built environment, we are able to appraise and provide recommendations when:

• There is a change in a member of staff abilities.
• New starters require adaptations.
• A challenge is initiated.
• An audit indicates failure to meet standards, or, a contract.

Wherever possible, we work to provide solutions and to reach agreement outside of court. However, where necessary we can provide the relevant expert knowledge to inform any formal proceedings.
